Procedures for Spot Removal

1. Mix Clean or General Purpose Carpet Cleaner in spray bottles of two dilutions. For routing spot and stain removal, dilute at 80 ml/liter (10oz/gallon) (fill a suitable spray bottle 1:4). For heavier or more persistent stains dilute at 1:1.
2. If any accumulation of residual is visible, vacuum or scrape as much of the residual from the carpet surface as possible. Then treat the spot.
3. Always pre-test carpets in an inconspicuous area to ensure that it is color fast.
4. Spray the solution on a clean white terry cloth and hold it against the soil to be removed. Blot area for about one to five minutes, remove the rag and check it to see if soil has transferred to the cloth. Also observe that no color transfer has occurred.
5. Repeat the process until the spot is removed.
